World Design Experience 2026

Openness means sharing ideas and creating space for new things. Under this motto, Open – Design Week Frankfurt RheinMain is building an open stage for everyone who designs, researches and experiments – both locally and internationally.

Whether it's a studio, conference, exhibition or young design: participants contribute their ideas, engage in conversation and put their work in the spotlight at WDC 2026. We accompany you throughout the process and ensure that guests, experts and the media take notice.

What do you have to do? Simply select the appropriate format and register.

How do I register?

Would you like to be part of the Open with your own contribution? Then you've come to the right place.

Here's how to register:

• select a format (Doors, Spaces, Minds, or Next),
• briefly describe what you would like to show or offer,
• provide the location, times, and contact details,
• submit – done!
• We will provide you with all further information regarding communication, visibility, and organisational details.

Good to know

• Open Doors, Open Minds and Open Next are free of charge, with no administration fees.
• Participation is possible on one or more days.
• Any location can become a stage: studio, shop, workshop, university, outdoor space.
• You will receive flags, posters and stickers to increase your visibility.
• Your contribution will appear in the official programme and on the website.
