The Consulate general of Switzerland offers a reception on the occasion of the «Constructive Alps» exhibition at Danziger Platz. The exhibition presents exemplary projects from the Alpine region that demonstrate how sustainable and high-quality building can be realized today through a sensitive use of resources, landscape and existing building culture.
The reception will take place within the exhibition space and offers an opportunity to explore and discuss the exhibition’s themes in an informal setting. Following welcome remarks by the Consulate general of Switzerland and inputs on the exhibition and sustainable building in the Alpine region, guests are invited to enjoy an apéro.
The event creates space for encounters, conversations and exchange on architecture, sustainability and the future of building.
The exhibition and the reception are organized by the Consulate General of Switzerland in Frankfurt am Main, which operates under the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA).
The exhibition content is based on a curatorial project by the Swiss Federal Office for Spatial Development (ARE), a specialised agency within the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (DETEC), in collaboration with the Alpine Museum of Switzerland ALPS, Bern.
