Design as a Relationship views design as an open-ended process between object and human, object and space, as well as object and object.
The RAFT collective is a group of craft, product, industrial, and contextual designers with roots in applied design. Shaped by various universities, RAFT combines hands-on craftsmanship with experimental and collaborative design processes.
As part of the Open – Design Week, RAFT is opening up its sketchbooks and thought processes, offering insights into the deeper questioning behind their own work.
This creates space for an open exchange about design, craft, creativity, and the questions that drive a concept. Everyone is welcome to join, whether they have a background in design or not.
Let’s come together and discuss what moves us!
Just like a raft, RAFT is made up of independent elements that unlock their greatest strength as a collective.
