In Raw Dialogues, Studio Tobias Hirt presents a selection of furniture and objects from his current design practice, including seating, tables, lighting, and other objects.
The works emerge from the observation of everyday forms and structures and their deliberate translation into design. The design process unfolds in a continuous dialogue between observation, material, and construction. At its core is a focused engagement with aluminum, wood, and other materials as the basis for formal and functional decisions.
Material properties are analyzed, reconsidered, and placed into new contexts. Familiar typologies are questioned and transformed into clear, reduced objects. Rather than narrating a process, the work is concerned with the precise formulation of solutions arising from material, construction, and function. Familiar materials are reinterpreted, taking shape in unfamiliar yet functionally legible forms.
The works are defined by a reduced formal language, constructive clarity, and deliberate restraint.
