AI Futures: How AI is shaping Frankfurt and the region — a participatory project by Latent Lab in cooperation with VHS Frankfurt and additional partners. Frankfurt is Europe's largest data hub and a service center of global significance. AI will unfold its impact here — its collateral damage too. Time to take charge of shaping the near future. AI Futures invites the city's community to collectively explore how AI will transform Frankfurt and the region. We present this project on the 20th floor of the Westhafentower.

Latent Lab is a project by R3ASON AI Business Studio and AI Frankfurt Rhein-Main e.V. It brings together decision-makers from business, science, and civil society to shape the conditions surrounding AI transformation.

The conviction: AI will make our lives better. But it meets a strained planet. Whether AI can deliver on its promise depends on whether we take the framework conditions seriously: energy and climate, social equity, safety, and cognitive sovereignty. Latent Lab creates the space where the right actors connect and new opportunities and perspectives emerge.
