Revalued – Material Afterlife in Fashion explores the afterlife of garments, revealing what often remains hidden: material quality, craftsmanship, and creative potential beyond their first life.
At its core is the transformation of high-quality clothing through rework processes that reinterpret materials and shift them into extended contexts of use. Seams are opened, layers revealed, and fragments recomposed.
A key focus lies on making materiality and origin visible. Fashion is experienced as a dynamic process that goes beyond consumption. The project space functions as an open setting where exhibition and production intersect.
Revalued highlights how value and meaning shift through the handling of materials. Fashion is understood not as a finished product, but as an ongoing process shaped by transformation, memory, and reinterpretation. The project invites a new perspective on clothing – not as an end, but as a point of departure.
SPACE AT SQUARE is a concept space in Frankfurt that brings together local design, upcycling and sustainable fashion concepts.
