kama architekten is based in Frankfurt am Main. One of kama’s main areas of focus is expansion, infill development, and modernization in an urban context.

Preserving as much of the existing building stock as possible is one of the goals at kama architekten – additions, extensions, and conversions using timber construction as well as single-material structures serve as the means to this end.

However, the range of services extends from furniture design to the planning of a new neighborhood – always striving to pursue the most sustainable approach possible.
