High levels of dynamism, disruptive innovation, and geopolitical developments are reshaping the business landscape. Established business models are increasingly being put to the test.

The upcoming 9th Creative Industries Day in Frankfurt highlights how the cultural and creative industries are generating fresh ideas for entrepreneurial action—ideas that resonate far beyond their own sector.

Digital technologies such as artificial intelligence and immersive applications are fundamentally transforming both working methods and creative processes. The conference program demonstrates how these shifts are enabling new forms of collaboration, production, and value creation.

The event will open with a welcome address from the Hessian Ministry of Economic Affairs, followed by a keynote from brand eins focusing on AI and the creative industries. Additional program highlights include contributions from World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026 and the see-Conference Wiesbaden.

In the afternoon, the focus will turn to successful business cases leveraging emerging technologies—particularly in the games and advertising industries—alongside a panel discussion on leapfrogging and presentations on Korean business models and innovation. The program is curated in collaboration with partners including Cluk, Game Hessen, DDC, the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), AI Hub Frankfurt, and the House of Digital Transformation (HoDT), among others.

Interactive hands-on formats, exhibition showcases, AI workshops, and fishbowl discussions—featuring a live avatar, as well as topics such as education and Hesse as a film location—will make current AI trends tangible and accessible.

The event will conclude with a conversation between British star photographer Rankin and Karin Rehn-Kaufmann of Leica.
