Here, design is understood not merely as the creation of objects, but as a means of bringing social issues to light and engaging people.

An invitation to participate. Anyone interested is welcome to get actively involved. Visitors can collaborate with designer Christiane Wegner to help design a T-shirt they would like to purchase.

The word “VOTE” is at the center of the design. It is a deliberately chosen political statement. The T-shirt is meant to be more than just a piece of clothing—it is a message. “VOTE” symbolizes freedom of expression, participation, and democracy in action.

The initiative combines art and politics: by designing and wearing a VOTE shirt, participants express their stance on democracy.

Milena Kossmann customizes fairly produced T-shirts in various styles. Each shirt bears the slogan “Democracy looks good on you” and is individually designed via screen printing and ordered in advance. A sample collection is available in the store for try-ons—so fit and color can be selected on the spot.

The slogan stands for a clear stance: Democracy thrives on our making it visible—in everyday life, on the streets, and in our interactions with one another. The shirt is a statement for diversity and responsibility; at the same time, it shows that stance and aesthetics are not a contradiction.
