Schlangenbad: Erzählcafé – Geschichten um Bärstadt

The Erzählcafé at the Volkswirtschaft Lindenhof encourages intergenerational exchange: During a group walk through Schlangenbad-Bärstadt, local stories—both big and small—are shared at various locations.

These stories serve as a starting point and inspiration for the subsequent get-together over coffee and cake at the Volkswirtschaft Lindenhof. Following a presentation of photos from the Bärstadt local archive, participants engage in a casual conversation.

VolksWirtschaft Lindenhof is a cooperative, volunteer-run inn. This initiative, currently involving 215 residents, is unique in the area. The venue has established itself as a meeting place for young and old, new residents, culture enthusiasts, clubs, regulars, and curious visitors. In addition to regular pub nights, the volunteers organize a diverse cultural program here, ranging from bingo and trivia to music, cabaret, and cookie baking. To foster togetherness and interaction within the village community, it takes not only events but, above all, a space that needs to be filled with life and that is reliably and consistently open to ideas across all age groups and interests.
