The initiative invites citizens to develop ideas for alternative uses of the castle by stamping blank postcards.
To do so, citizens can choose from 90 stamps and combine them as they see fit. The pre-printed postcards provided are addressed to the Hessian State Parliament. The front is blank and can be designed using the stamps. This creative and playful activity opens up a space for discourse. This low-threshold initiative makes it possible to engage people of all ages and facilitate dialogue. To encourage interaction, a temporary café/bar will be set up on the forecourt of the former castle—which is otherwise used as a parking lot for the tax office during the week—complete with lounge chairs, drinks, live music, and tables for stamping.
