Temporary Constructs mit David-Luis Grimm #3

For the DemokratieKioske, David Luis Grimm brings his concept of temporary constructions. Using simple connections, diverse elements are assembled into sculptural objects and spatial relations. Through the active involvement of seemingly external participants, the hierarchy between the creation and reception of an artwork becomes flattened. The reuse of the elements follows an ecologically and economically sustainable logic that challenges the relic-like status of an artwork. #3

David Luis Grimm (*1989, lives in Bamberg, Germany) works primarily with installation and sculpture, as well as graphics and collaborative processes with people. His works often include the direct or potential actions of others. With a playful approach that places process before results, he creates temporary, open artworks.
