In this workshop, we dive into the fascinating world of printmaking. The focus is on accessible techniques such as kitchen lithography and material printing. Kitchen lithography allows printing with everyday kitchen materials, while material printing encourages experimental work with different surfaces and textures. Participants will learn practical techniques to create unique, individual prints—ideal for beginners and more experienced participants who want to expand their artistic possibilities using everyday objects and explore the quiet beauty of the ordinary.
Sandra Li is a multidisciplinary artist and has been part of the WestAteliers (https://www.instagram.com/westateliers/) in Gallus since October 2024. In her work, she experiments with various printmaking techniques, from risography and screen printing to monotype, as well as photography and installations. She explores performative forms of storytelling through spatial and sound installations. Since 2023, she has run the collaborative platform tinystud.io, which provides space for a wide range of projects.
