...
In the Possibility Workshop, we explore participants hopes and aspirations for society. What does it take to live together democratically, and what should our interactions with one another look like? Using solar printing on fabric, we transform these wishes and demands into banners or garlands that can later be displayed in the neighborhood.
Juliane Kutter is an artist from Offenbach and a graduate of the Offenbach University of Art and Design (HfG Offenbach). While still a student, she began developing sociocultural participatory projects. Her work engages with social issues, particularly the question of how communal life can be shaped and how active participation can be fostered. She also seeks to open up new perspectives, challenging привычные ways of seeing in order to spark dialogue and exchange. Her artistic practice focuses primarily on illustration and photography, while also exploring and experimenting with new techniques.
The Project DemokratieKiosk is realised by Lust auf besser leben gGmbH. Funded by: Gefördert von: WDC, Kulturfonds RheinMain, Deutsche Stiftung Fernsehlotterie, Stiftung Polytechnische Gesellschaft, Hessische Landeszentrale für politische Bildung, Kulturzeiter*innen e.V.
