As part of the workshop, we use the technique of “no-input mixing” to create electronic sounds and make music live and spontaneously. Feedback and background noises—sounds one would normally try to avoid—become surprising, entertaining, and captivating structures. Based on simple rules, we realize mini concerts and short tracks: sound and access to it are democratized.

Gregor Glogowski lives in Frankfurt am Main and works as an artist, musician, and theatre maker. He is a co-founder of the collective Matter of Facts Studio, a platform for experimental music theatre, concerts, and artistic mediation, which regularly presents its work at venues such as Mousonturm Frankfurt and Kampnagel Hamburg. Glogowski has created audiovisual works for institutions including the DialogMuseum, the Crespo Haus in Frankfurt am Main, and for radio. He has performed concerts, among other places, at the Klangbar of the Museum Abteiberg in Mönchengladbach and at the Weltkulturenmuseum in Frankfurt am Main. His theatre works have been invited to the World Stage Design Festival in Taipei (Taiwan) and to the Tonlagen Festival at HELLERAU – European Center for the Arts in Dresden.
