Auftaktveranstaltung

With this kickoff event, we officially launch the DemokratieKioske project, a creative public-space initiative that brings together art, design, and democracy.

During the evening, we aim to introduce the participating artists and creatives, present the design concept of the Democracy Kiosks, share the planned locations and partner municipalities, showcase the formats of the Young Urban Future Labs (YUF Labs) which are outreach workshops that make democracy tangible for young people, connect all partners from art, education, municipalities, and neighborhoods, and invite everyone to join in, contribute ideas, and help shape the project. The kickoff event offers space for meeting, exchange, and inspiration. Together, we want to turn kiosks into vibrant places of democracy, right in the middle of everyday life and open to all. Afterwards, we invite everyone to a relaxed get-together with snacks and drinks, a chance to keep the conversation going, share ideas, and make new connections. We welcome all who want to enrich the project with their ideas, initiatives, or formats.
