Using the method of CITY STAMPING, details from the urban environment are captured with modeling clay and an ink pad. In this way, places are explored, attention is directed toward details, and people are encouraged to look and feel more closely. The printmaking practice of “CITY STAMPING” is a gentle and non-destructive way of engaging with space that sharpens the perception of details and fosters a mindful approach to the environment.

studio pari–pari is an artists’ collective consisting of Lena Schrieb and Marina Kampka. The CITY STAMP project is an artistic research project by the duo – since 2017, the two have been exploring primarily public spaces using modeling clay and ink pads.

The Project DemokratieKiosk is realised by Lust auf besser leben gGmbH. Funded by: Gefördert von: WDC, Kulturfonds RheinMain, Deutsche Stiftung Fernsehlotterie, Stiftung Polytechnische Gesellschaft, Hessische Landeszentrale für politische Bildung, Kulturzeiter*innen e.V.
