What is it like to live in a historic building? What experiences do owners have? What issues concern the people in our old town?
With this historic walking tour, we want to bring together people who are interested in Oberursel’s old town or who are part of it themselves.
The focus is on exchange and connection: What makes our old town special? What experiences, ideas, and perspectives would we like to share with one another? And what can we learn from each other? We want to bring our old town to life and show what lies behind it.
Together, we’ll engage in conversation at selected locations in the old town—property owners, residents, historic preservation experts, city officials, and other interested parties.

The historic walk is designed as an open dialogue format. It aims to help connect people, foster mutual understanding, and draw attention to the historic sites in our Old Town.
The Babbelbank serves as the connecting element: After all, the Old Town thrives not only on its buildings, but above all on the people engaging in conversation with one another.
The event starts in a public space and is accessible to everyone. We’ll go ahead even if it rains.
