The Rheingau Wine Festival has been a fixture in Oberursel’s calendar for many years – and for us, the residents of the marketplace, it is a special celebration.

In 2026, the festival will be enriched with a symbolic gesture: On the final day, Sunday, the residents take over the wine stand of the Faust winery.

We serve wine on a voluntary basis – all proceeds, of course, remain with the winemaker. What matters most is the opportunity to engage with fellow citizens: informal, over a glass of wine, in the very heart of the city.

This way, the Wine Festival also becomes a place of encounter and participation. A low-threshold format that makes democracy and community tangible in everyday life – right at the heart of the marketplace.

Further information: Public space, barrier-free access, weather dependent. Good public transport connections (S-Bahn, underground, bus). Revenue remains with the winemaker. Language: German.
