Claim the space: FLINTA* Design-Workshop

Together, we create public retreats and meeting points for FLINTA*. In our workshops, we explore places of well-being and safe spaces, consider where and how we wish to claim space, and construct prototypical gathering spots in public areas using flexible materials.

Through exchange, networking, and participatory design, we build a community tailored to our needs—one that strengthens presence, personal initiative, and empowerment.

The collective Das Fliegende S designs both tangible and intangible spaces and participatory processes, with a focus on social and ecological sustainability. At the intersection of art, design, urban research, and social practice, we develop formats such as situational, open-ended interactions and experimental construction. Using methods of performative, speculative design that we have developed ourselves, we make the potential of spaces visible and engage people in accessible, creative processes.
