Kiez-Mühle mit Dirk von Manteuffel #1

With the “Kiez Mill” Dirk von Manteuffel transfers the principle of the mill game into a democratic learning and encounter format at the kiosk: rules of play, negotiation, fairness, and collective action become tangible as social practice. The process is clearly structured (creating the game board, learning the game, activating a culture of play) and aims to enable participants to develop their own game arrangements, formats, and small tournament structures over the course of the project—as a low-threshold framework for participation and neighborhood dialogue. #1

Dirk von Manteuffel works as a designer in visual and three-dimensional contexts and develops formats that connect design, communication, and mediation. Under the label Studio von Manteuffel, interdisciplinary projects and workshop formats are created that are based on hands-on practice, material experience, and collaborative learning.
