Philipp Somogyi (Mehler Vario System GmbH) and students discuss how protective clothing for police, military, and emergency services can be reassessed between martial aesthetics and life-saving function. Lectures, panels, workshops, and excursions combine practical expertise with ethical questions, material research, and communication design to rethink protection systems as expressions of care rather than escalation.
