With A Haircut for Democracy we connect humour, everyday life and democracy. Hairdresser Oliver Schwarz hosts a comedy evening that links the craft of hairdressing, witty everyday stories and democratic values.

The format takes place – like the Monday Hairdresser – at the Hairdresser Ruppel salon on the marketplace. The salon itself becomes a stage where laughter and reflection go hand in hand.

The Babbelbank is integrated as a prompt for conversation: After the comedy performance, visitors are invited to sit down, talk and share their own thoughts. The aim is to make democracy visible and tangible in everyday life – this time with humour as a bridge.
