Mobilität verbindet: Demokratie erfahren

With Mobilität verbindet: Demokratie erfahren we invite participants to a cycling tour starting from Oberursel’s marketplace and leading to other places of democracy and encounter.

The tour allows us to experience democracy in a double sense: as a shared lived experience and as a ride through the city. Along the way, short stops provide impulses, opportunities for conversation, and space for exchange at the Babbelbank.

The route follows the idea of the “15-minute city”: everything important is accessible if you are mobile – on foot, by bike, or by public transport.

The event combines movement, community and democracy. The goal is to highlight mobility as a fundamental condition of democratic participation – while at the same time enjoying the joy of cycling together.
