Canadian artist Geoff McFetridge draws, animates, and tells in “Drawing a Life” about the invisible connections between people, places, and memories.
The film is a poetic exploration of creativity, observation, and the power of small gestures that shape our lives. With a clear, minimalist aesthetic, it combines hand-drawn animations, music, and personal reflections into a meditative portrait of seeing, thinking, and inventing.
“Drawing a Life” is an invitation to perceive the world through an artist’s eyes and to discover the beauty in everyday moments. Other works by Geoff McFetridge, a longtime collaborator of the Beastie Boys, are featured in the exhibition “MISHPOCHA. The Art of Collaboration.”
The film is introduced by curator Dr. Franziska Krah.
