In preparation for Anne Frank Day, students from Philipp-Reis School in Friedrichsdorf engaged deeply with Anne Frank and her family’s history.

They focused in particular on the question Anne Frank wrote in her diary 82 years ago: “Have my parents forgotten what it was like to be young?” Under the guidance of poetry slam artist Dalibor Marković, the students explored their own forms of writing and performing slam poetry. They will present their works publicly for the first time on the museum’s forecourt.

The poetry slam is hosted by Dalibor Marković. He is a spoken-word poet and musician from Frankfurt am Main.

Admission is free.

The Jewish Museum Frankfurt makes the diversity of Jewish cultures in history and the present tangible. To this end, it collects, preserves and researches cultural assets and testimonies of Jewish life in Frankfurt. Through its art and cultural history exhibitions, educational programmes and digital offerings – as well as its commitment to experimental formats – the Jewish Museum Frankfurt aims to be a museum without walls.
