Designkiosk – Workshop #8

The Designkiosk is an artistic intervention in the public space of Offenbach's Senefelderquartier. Operating as a mobile meeting point, it creates an anchor site where people can gather by choice or chance, experience their surroundings afresh, and take collective action.

In collaboration with the City of Offenbach, the project invites residents and visitors to explore the neighbourhood through the lens of design and contribute their own ideas. As part of the Designkiosk series, various formats are trialled that blend movement, dialogue, and creative practice. This session focuses on a design interaction within the Senefelderquartier: local atmospheres will be captured and subsequently rendered artistically within the urban space. Using materials such as charcoal, tape, and acrylics, participants will produce temporary collages and kiosk visualisations that reinterpret and shed new light on the urban environment.

The process will be guided by designer and artist Emre Yazar, who will support participants in bringing their concepts to life and offer fresh impetus for collective design. The event is open to all interested individuals—no prior experience is required, and participation is free of charge. The goal is to open up creative pathways into the quarter and strengthen public space as a hub for community dialogue and shared creation.
