In this open and interactive exchange and discussion format, Mannheim-based industrial designer and artist Emre Yazar (Studio E Y P D & A) presents his WDC project "Designkiosk" and explores the concept within the context of the new urban-making movement.
How can kiosks and kiosk-like spaces inspire a renewed passion for design? He demonstrates how uncertainty can also be a material to be worked with. Reinterpreting and making urban space visible is possible for many.
As part of the "Designkiosk" series, various formats are being tested in several cities, combining movement, exchange, and creative work. Places and atmospheres are explored and then artistically transformed within the urban environment.

Emre Yazar (*1991 in Mannheim) is a freelance designer and artist who works interdisciplinarily with a design-relevant and innovative practice that deals with different spatial and interaction concepts.
