The Designkiosk is an artistic intervention in the public space of the Musikerviertel in Offenbach. As a mobile meeting place, it creates a hub where people come together—whether intentionally or by chance—to perceive their surroundings in a new light and engage in collaborative activities.
In collaboration with the City of Offenbach, the project invites participants to explore the neighborhood from a creative perspective and contribute their own ideas.
As part of the Design Kiosk series, various formats are being tested that combine movement, exchange, and creative work. This event focuses on a walking tour with a video project in the Senefelderquartier: places and atmospheres in the urban space are explored and documented on film. How can public space be artistically shaped? What perspectives can be made visible? The aim is to raise awareness of and expand the understanding of the right to the city.
The process is guided by designer and artist Emre Yazar, who supports participants in bringing their ideas to life and provides inspiration for collective design. The program is open to anyone interested—no prior experience is required, and participation is free of charge. The goal is to open up creative approaches to the neighborhood and to strengthen public space as a place for exchange and collaborative design.
