Workshop: Unsere Stadt der Zukunft

How would you like to live and reside? You are warmly invited to build a city that meets your needs. Develop it here in exchange with other builders!

Here’s how:
Construction is done using packaging materials of all kinds that accumulate in households and are mostly carelessly thrown away. Here they serve a good purpose, because from them houses, factories, vehicles, and much more are created. For every person enthusiastic about building, there is a DIN-A4 cardboard, onto which the individual city elements, into which you transform the packaging, are then glued. You decide and discuss how far you want to build in width or height. In this way, everyone contributes with "their" district to the shape of the constantly growing city.

In the meantime, the individual districts are pushed together like a puzzle to form a whole, so that streets and paths can be drawn on them. Give your neighborhood a name, and feel free to include a photo of the entire city at the very end. At the end, you can take the neighborhood you’ve built home with you.

We’ll provide all the materials and aprons, but please feel free to bring any packaging you no longer need from home.
