Presentation and workshop on design methods and their contribution to citizen-centred urban development in a binational border region.

WDC 2024 is a guest at the Pavilion: Meet lighting designer Alita Escobedo from Tijuana, Mexico, and gain insights into her work and creative journey.

Together we create public retreat spaces and meeting points for FLINTA*. In workshops we explore safe spaces, discuss where and how we want to take up space, and build prototypical places to stay in public space.

Come join us for yoga at the WDC Pavilion. This session is suitable for all levels—whether you already have experience or simply want to give yoga a try. A certified yoga instructor from our WDC team will lead the class.

Using weaving needles and yarn, participants create small woven pieces without prior experience. The workshop focuses on mindful making, keeping hands busy, and calming the mind.
