School classes are warmly invited to register for our educational workshops as part of the WDC Pavilion program in Kelkheim. Conceived and led by artists Sophie Netzer and Kerstin Reyer, the workshops encourage young people to critically explore public space and actively shape it through design.

1. Sign Workshop

How do you experience public space? Together we develop questions, statements, and messages: Where do you like to be? What is missing? What should change? Your ideas are transformed into signs and installed in the city, creating visible impulses that invite reflection and dialogue. The city becomes a platform for your perspectives.

Target group: secondary level students, no prior experience required.

07.05.2026 | 9:00–11:00 or 11:30–13:30

2. Attachment Workshop

How comfortable is public space? We design padded wooden and textile elements that temporarily make places more comfortable and invite people to stay. Where is seating missing? Where are barriers? Our “attachments” are installed and tested on site.

Target group: secondary level students, no prior experience required.

08.05.2026 | 9:00–11:00 or 11:30–13:30
