In the workshop The Future of Food in the City, led by Donata Koschel, we transform kitchen waste into small everyday objects – from pencils to plant pots. Feel free to bring along what you have at home: orange or lemon peel, nut shells or eggshells. Alternatively, you can simply use the materials provided on site.
Every Wednesday at 18:30, things get creative, sustainable and democratic! At “Wetter Mi. – Living Room at 6 pm”, you’re invited to dive into the worlds of design, democracy and upcycling, and to help shape the future of Offenbach. Through engaging workshops, inspiring talks and interactive, hands-on formats, residents and experts come together to explore how sustainable design can strengthen our communities. The Wednesday bar not only encourages creative thinking and active participation, but also highlights what fair and environmentally responsible urban living can look like.
Come along. Admission is free.
SCAPE° is an interactive experience space in Offenbach. Here, we explore the connections between weather, climate, and sustainability together—with exciting experiments, workshops, and events. For children and adults. Admission is free. SCAPE° is run by Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) and the Offenbach City Council departments for cultural management, city management/economic development, as well as environment and climate.
