Climate change and social inclusion call for a form of mobility that is accessible and attractive to everyone. The quality of mobility is not defined solely by infrastructure or technology, but fundamentally by the quality of its design.

Mobility design connects people with transport systems—through wayfinding, information, and positive user experiences. Drawing on current research and practical projects, the lecture demonstrates how high-quality design can foster sustainable mobility habits and thereby contribute to a democratic and livable society.

Prof. Peter Eckart and Prof. Dr. Kai Vöckler developed the exhibition project "The Future of Mobility: Design for Connected Mobility" in collaboration with students from the Offenbach University of Art and Design (HfG Offenbach), the Offenbach Institut for Mobility Design and unit-design, Frankfurt

Participation is free of charge.

A guided tour of the exhibition will take place at 3:30 PM, prior to the lecture. At approximately 4:00 PM, Prof. Peter Eckart will discuss the exhibit "The Future of Mobility" in Room 5.
