- Public – urban spaces for everyone
- Ausstellung
Bund Deutscher Architektinnen und Architekten BDA Hessen e.V.
...
The exhibition focuses on public spaces as central places of a democratic and open society. This refers not only to streets, parks and squares, but also to spaces that are important for living together as a society: places of shared use, spaces for specific groups and programmes, and safe spaces for communities, both indoors and outdoors.
In collaboration with universities and colleges in the region, selected neighbourhoods and sites were examined and their potential as public spaces made visible. The works ask about current uses as well as about spatial possibilities that have remained untapped so far. Designs and sketches open up perspectives on the future of our built environment.
The exhibition presents works by students from the following universities:
- Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences
- Hochschule Darmstadt
- Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach
- Hochschule Mainz
- Hochschule RheinMain
- Technische Universität Darmstadt
- Universität Kassel
Opening hours: Monday–Friday, 8 am–6 pm
