Health concerns us all. It determines our well-being, our quality of life and social cohesion in our city. Through the ‘Mein Gesundes Wiesbaden’ project, we are making prevention visible, tangible and something we can shape together – right here in our local community.
A lack of physical activity, barriers in everyday life and increasing social isolation can lead to older people becoming less active and losing their sense of participation. How can we shape living environments that encourage physical activity, facilitate social interaction and support an active life in old age? Together, we think beyond boundaries, combine perspectives and develop ideas for an active and self-determined future.
The workshop is based on qualitative interviews conducted by Master’s students from the "Social Work" programme at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences and quantitative surveys carried out by Master’s students from the "Healthcare Management" programme at the Wiesbaden Business School.
The local partner for this workshop is Nachbarschaftshaus Wiesbaden e.V.
Participation in the ideas workshop is free of charge; please register via the following link
