Rethinking Health – Developing Solutions Together
Health concerns us all. It determines our well-being, our quality of life and social cohesion in our city. Through the "Mein Gesundes Wiesbaden" project, we are making prevention visible, tangible and something we can shape together – right here in our local community. Healthy eating should be possible and a matter of course for everyone in their daily lives – regardless of income, place of residence or family circumstances. Yet it is precisely in areas where shopping facilities and options are limited that new and practical ideas are needed. What role can a health kiosk play as a central point of contact for health, nutrition and social interaction? Together, we’ll bring different perspectives together, think beyond boundaries and develop ideas for a neighbourhood where healthy eating and a sense of community are a given for all generations. The foundation for this is provided by qualitative interviews conducted by Master’s students from the ‘Social Work’ programme at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences and quantitative surveys carried out by Master’s students from the "Healthcare Management" programme at the Wiesbaden Business School.
The partner for this workshop is Volksbildungswerk Klarenthal e.V.
