The taste of Home – Die Entstehungsgeschichte von "Kitchen on the run"

“Taste of Home” is a 46-minute documentary about the project “Kitchen on the Run.” A shipping container is transformed into a mobile kitchen and travels through five European countries. The film follows the organizers on their journey and gives a voice to the people they meet along the way.

At its heart is cooking—dishes and aromas, but above all the unique magic that emerges when people come together to share a meal. At the same time, “Kitchen on the Run” is also an example of sustainability, as existing resources are used creatively and new spaces for connection are created.

A moderated screening of ‘Taste of Home’ will take place at the WDC Pavilion in collaboration with Über den Tellerrand Frankfurt e.V.
