Hooked on a Book

Two people meet and open a book: they begin to leaf through it—the book asks questions and encourages exchange and conversation—about life and the world in general and in detail, about what separates and what connects us, about being alone and being together.

A completely analog yet interactive piece between two strangers. A double exposure. Anywhere. A piece that requires no stage and no audience. It can take place anywhere in the world: a secluded farm, a small town, a metropolis. Page by page, the two people become entangled and thus become the main characters of the book.

SCAPE° is an interactive experience space in Offenbach. Here, we explore the connections between weather, climate, and sustainability together—with exciting experiments, workshops, and events. For children and adults. Admission is free. SCAPE° is run by Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) and the Offenbach City Council departments for cultural management, city management/economic development, as well as environment and climate.
