Schulworkshop "Dry, Dye, Tie" – lokale Materialien entdecken und kreativ verarbeiten #1

Together with the designers from Constructlab, students explore the potential of locally sourced materials from nature, everyday life, and local businesses. They learn how these materials can be creatively transformed using simple and sustainable techniques. Depending on the group, participants may create natural dyes for colouring wool or fabric, (woven) textiles, or other handcrafted objects. A material-collecting walk through the city may also be part of the workshop.

The workshops are adapted to the age and interests of the students and combine hands-on experimentation with a playful approach to sustainability, material research, and design. The workshops are held in English and are highly practical, making them accessible even for students with limited English skills.

Target group: Primary school, lower and upper secondary school (English skills helpful)
