The Module Festival transforms Frankfurt’s Kulturcampus into a laboratory for artistic and social experimentation. This interdisciplinary festival brings together artists, designers and practitioners from a wide range of fields, inviting them to explore new forms of exchange and collaboration.

Under the theme Design for Democracy, the Module Festival asks how design and culture can contribute to inclusive, vibrant and accessible public spaces for all. Music, visual art and discussion enter into a creative dialogue, making social issues tangible and experiential.

The Kulturcampus Frankfurt provides the ideal setting. As a site in transition, developed collaboratively with residents, cultural practitioners and initiatives, it represents an open city where encounter, experimentation and co-creation are possible.

The programme features performances, talks, workshops and a wide range of participatory formats. At its heart is a stage programme with musicians and AV artists, whose new works light up the surrounding buildings in the evenings as audiovisual projections. This is complemented by a temporary radio station, curated daily by different communities and broadcast in collaboration with international online radio stations.

Admission to the festival is free for everyone.
