WDC Pavilion in Rheingau

From 19 to 30 August 2026, the WDC Pavilion will stop at the garden of Brömserburg in Rüdesheim am Rhein. Between vineyards, the River Rhine and the historic old town, a temporary meeting place will emerge for two weeks – a place where people can connect, try out new things and create together.

Visitors can look forward to a diverse programme: from walks to collect natural materials, making colours, designing notebooks and learning different printing techniques to dance workshops and a shared picnic in the garden. The programme includes WDC projects, local initiatives and, above all, the residency by Constructlab, who will be working on site throughout the entire stay. Under the title “Dry, Dry, Dry”, the team invites visitors to explore communal forms of preservation, knowledge exchange and the sustainable use of local resources. Alongside planned activities, spontaneous hands-on actions and opportunities for exchange will emerge throughout the residency – so dropping by at any time is encouraged.

All activities at the WDC Pavilion are free of charge, barrier-free and open to people of all generations.

Soft Opening – Wed, 19th August

School Workshop “Dry, Dry, Tie” – Fr, 21th & 28th August, 9:00–11:00 am & 11:30 am–1:30 pm
Workshop for school classes. Together, participants collect materials from the surrounding area and creatively transform them.
Not open to the public.

Workshop: “Mal was anderes” – Thu, 20th & Wed, 26th August 10:00 am–1:00 pm
Using unusual painting tools, playful drawing exercises and creative experiments, visitors collaboratively create a growing artwork.

Together we explore local dances, accompanied by live keyboard music.

Buchkunstlabor: #Crazy Books – Sat, 22th August, 10:00 am–1:00 pm
In this book-making workshop, we experiment with paper, colours and shapes to create our own artist books.
