Have you ever wondered about the significance of certain elements in church architecture? Perhaps you are fascinated by a window or a sculpture — without knowing what it depicts. What elements are found in both Catholic and Protestant churches? How do they differ? And what actually makes a church a cathedral?
If these or similar questions interest you, the tour of the Cathedral and St. Nicholas Church is just the right experience for you! You are invited to a church tour with a slightly different perspective. Pastor Andrea Braunberger-Myers and Pastor Dr. Stefan Scholz will also present a favorite element of “their” house of worship.
In cooperation with the Cathedral Deanery and the Evangelical Lutheran St. Paul’s Parish and the Old St. Nicholas Church.

Why are there so many religions? How do people search for the divine? Is there something that unites all religions?
On our journey through and around Frankfurt, we meet knowledgeable experts who explain their faiths to us, from Judaism to Islam, from Buddhism to Hinduism. We get to know places of worship, temples and holy sites, take part in religious festivals and gain an insight into various religious and cultural traditions. The aim is to promote exchange between people of different religious traditions.
In cooperation with the Protestant Parish Office for Interreligious Dialogue in Frankfurt, the Department for Interreligious Dialogue of the Jewish Community of Frankfurt, the Catholic Adult Education Centre in Frankfurt and the Islamforum in Frankfurt e.V.
