As a cultural institute under the patronage of the XIV Dalai Lama, Tibethaus Germany serves to preserve and convey Tibetan culture. Its mission is to make Buddhist philosophy, psychology, and practice accessible to both Buddhists and non-Buddhists, based on authentic Indo-Tibetan sources.
During a tour of Tibethaus, you will learn about Tibet and its culture and be introduced to a typical Tibetan meditation room. This will be followed by an introduction to Tibetan-Buddhist teachings and a discussion on how these can be applied in the modern world.

Why are there so many religions? How do people search for the divine? Is there something that unites all religions?
On our journey through and around Frankfurt, we meet knowledgeable experts who explain their faiths to us, from Judaism to Islam, from Buddhism to Hinduism. We get to know places of worship, temples and holy sites, take part in religious festivals and gain an insight into various religious and cultural traditions. The aim is to promote exchange between people of different religious traditions.
In cooperation with the Protestant Parish Office for Interreligious Dialogue in Frankfurt, the Department for Interreligious Dialogue of the Jewish Community of Frankfurt, the Catholic Adult Education Centre in Frankfurt and the Islamforum in Frankfurt e.V.
