Are you between 18 and 30 years old and interested in politics? Do you want to contribute your ideas, have your say, help shape things and try your hand in a diverse group of young, committed people? Then join the Junge Akademie Frankfurt in 2026! We promote democratic co-operation and create space for innovative projects – because it’s fun and effective when you tackle things together!

Everyone who wants to participate is welcome. You don’t need an academic background, religious affiliation or previous experience. Simply apply online on the website!

This year’s theme is “Designing Democracy”. We ask ourselves whether our democracy needs rebranding or even a complete overhaul – and what forms tomorrow’s co-decision-making should take if everyone is to be involved. We’ll look into digital worlds and real encounters, fair structures, creative urban planning and participatory art – in short, everything that brings our democray to life.
