Demokratie-Slam – Projektparade der Jungen Akademie Frankfurt

Curtain up on new ideas! At the Democracy Slam, participants from the Frankfurt Young Academy will present the results of their cohort’s work on the theme of ‘Designing Democracy’.

For months, they have been tinkering, discussing, discarding ideas and taking them further. Now the time has come to present their projects to the public.

In an entertaining gala featuring several pitches, you’ll discover three very different approaches to fostering democracy in everyday life: new ways of incorporating political education into the school curriculum, artistic and creative intergenerational exchanges, and a card game that encourages a change of perspective and sparks debate. Which idea has the greatest potential? Which one should definitely be pursued further? As members of the audience, you can help decide, because in the traditional ‘rose vote’ you are part of the jury. We look forward to welcoming active listeners, contributors, creators and networkers who would like to get involved by offering their expertise, contacts or financial support.
