Begegnungsinseln: ENGAGIER-BAR

The monthly Engagier-Bars are all about getting to know one another and networking. Since October 2025, a team from the Volunteer Centre, in collaboration with local clubs, initiatives and municipal organisations, has been inspiring people to get involved in voluntary work.

Following the Food Bar, Sound Bar, Warmth Bar, Games Bar, Digital Bar, Creative Bar, Letters Bar, Future Bar, Sports Bar, Nature Bar and Culture Bar, held at eleven different venues across Offenbach, the closing event will take place on 9 September from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Freiwilligenzentrum Offenbach. Museum educators Monika Jäger and Astrid Jäger from the Klingspor Museum and the Haus der Stadtgeschichte will be visiting with their Art Mobile. Under the title Solidarity in Action – the Volunteer Centre as a Place of Democracy, those interested can find out about the Volunteer Centre and volunteering, share their own places of democracy with one another, and create wish rainbows.

The event will take place outdoors, if the weather permits. In the event of rain, the event will be moved to the covered passageway and the indoor area (which, unfortunately, is not barrier-free). The event is free of charge.

The Engagier-Bar is organised by the Offenbach Volunteer Centre (Freiwilligenzentrum Offenbach e.V.) in collaboration with the Klingspor Museum and the Haus der Stadtgeschichte.
