The Offenbach Volunteer Centre invites families with primary school-aged children to a special event at the children’s library. On 29 April from 3.30 pm to 4.45 pm, dedicated reading and learning mentors will read the story “Der Besuch” by Antje Damm – in German and some other languages.
Afterwards, the children can get creative with a little craft activity and reinforce what they have heard in a playful way. At the same time, interested visitors will have the opportunity to find out about volunteering options to promote reading – whether in schools, libraries or other learning environments. A wonderful opportunity to get involved and support children in their learning!
Barrier-free access is available. The event is free of charge. We read in German and a few other languages.
