WDC Regular's Table

The WDC regulars' table is a monthly exchange and networking format that brings together all those interested in the World Design Capital 2026 in a relaxed atmosphere. Everyone is welcome. Networking committed people is the first step towards sustainably better living together!

Further Information:

Each regulars' table takes place at a different location. Often, we don’t know exactly whether and to what extent the venues are accessible. Please let us know in advance what might be a barrier for you, and we’ll work together to find a solution!

  • The regulars' table takes place every 3rd Wednesday of the month at a different location in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main region.
  • The aim is an informal exchange and networking of the design and WDC community.
  • The World Design Capital team provides a brief insight into current work statuses and ongoing projects. Afterwards, participants can get to know other interested parties and projects. People without their own ideas or contributions are also explicitly invited!
  • Participation in the regulars' table is free of charge

In the best case scenario, the regulars' tables will become established at the respective locations and continue to exist in the long term. Everyone is therefore invited to become ambassadors and organisers of the regulars' tables themselves. The places where the meetings take place can also become ambassadors for the WDC 2026.

The WDC regulars' table is a fixed component of the World Design Capital programme, which we are already starting today and which hopefully continues to take place after 2026.

Registration

For organisational reasons, we would appreciate a registration up to 2 days before the event. Last-minute participants are still welcome to join us spontaneously. All registered participants will receive an email shortly before the date with details of the regulars' table.

Become a host of a regulars' table

Would you also like to host a regulars‘ table or do you know a place where a regulars’ table should take place? Then send an email to hello@wdc2026.org. The location should offer enough space for at least 20-30 people in a good atmosphere and have seating – anything is possible, from a classic pub to a shop or a community centre.

Consultation hour

Do you have specific questions about the World Design Capital 2026? In addition to the regulars' table, the WDC online consultation hour will continue to take place on Mondays from 17:00-18:00.
