Exchange, networking, and open dialogue are at the heart of the WDC Regulars' Table. This time, we are taking the opportunity to look back on the WDC year so far: what has been created, which encounters and projects stand out in our memories, and what have we achieved together? At the same time, we are looking ahead to ask what will remain from the WDC year beyond 2026—which ideas, networks, and collaborations will continue to make an impact.
To explore this, we are meeting at the WDC Hub in the Museum Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt. As the central focal point of the World Design Capital, the WDC Hub considers itself a space in the making—an invitation to rethink, shape, and discuss design as a social practice. This makes it the ideal setting for a regulars' table where we can look back and look forward together.
Since 2024, the WDC Regulars' Table has already taken place 21 times at various locations across the entire region—from pubs and design studios to museums. Around 800 people have gathered to exchange ideas, make new contacts, and spark collaborative projects.
We look forward to taking stock together, looking to the future, and discussing what remains of the WDC year and how it can continue to evolve.
